Huge joy at Edeltraud and Hanspeter Weingut Ziereisen: The renowned US wine magazine Wine & Spirits lists the Markgräfler winery from Efringen-Kirchen among the top 100 wineries in the world in 2022.

"Ziereisen received this award for outstanding performance in our tastings and impressed our juries and critics with a collection of wines that surpassed the competition in its region," the editors said. In the list of "Top 100 Wineries of 2022" with Dönnhoff, Robert Weil and Selbach-Oster there are only three other German wineries and among others such famous and sonorous names as Louis Roederer, Bollinger, Zind-Humbrecht, Guigal (all France), Ornellaia (Italy), Tempos Vega Sicilia (Spain), Château Musar (Lebanon) or Au Bon Climat (USA).

The American wine magazine Wine & Spirits, based in San Francisco and New York, hosts a Top 100 tasting every year. The results are discussed in detail in the journal and have an internationally recognized presence and significance in the wine world.
